a brief and unusual absence

I'm employed!

Full time for the next 51 days including weekends

Which means

-I can pay rent

-I'll be a zombie for the next 2 months

-I won't have a ton to post except as related to my job, which is....

Building parade floats!

I've spent the last 2 days in a 15,000 sq. ft. space on the embarcadero (behind teatro zinzanni) sorting hardware, dismantling old floats, throwing out giant styrofoam hammers and plywood platform shoes, making foam core models of new floats, and converting feet to inches for the people who don't like math (!).

I am as dirty as something very dirty.
